Can my child come with me to paint?

Teens 15 and older are welcome to attend any Moscato’s event unless noted otherwise. An adult must attend with teenagers who are 15 – 17 years old. Teens and children 14 or younger are welcome to attend events with an adult if the session is noted as “kid-friendly” on the Event Calendar page. Moscato’s will also host special kid-friendly events throughout the year when students are on breaks from school. Watch the Event Calendar for these special dates and specifics on attendance.

 

When should I arrive for my class?

Moscato’s staff will start check in 30 minutes prior to the start of each class. Please arrive 15 – 30 minutes prior to the start of your class. This will allow you plenty of time to check in, find your spot, grab a drink, get your paints, and relax.

 

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No, you may not bring in alcohol. Moscato’s bar features seven wine varieties and three beer selections with additional monthly features. We believe we offer a variety that is pleasing to every taste at a reasonable price.

 

Can I bring in food?

Because we are often eating on the run, Moscato’s understands that you might be finishing a snack or meal upon your arrival. Any food must be finished prior to the start of the class and should not be brought to the paint tables. Snacks are available for purchase from our bar, but should be finished prior to the start of class or eaten during designated “Drink and Dry” times. If you have reserved the studio for a party, food may be brought in to be eaten before or after your paint session. If Moscato’s is supplying food for a session (CDS class, special brunch, wine and cheese party, etc.) all participants are encouraged to finish their refreshments prior to the start of the class.

 

Can I bring in decorations for our party?

If you have reserved the studio for your special event, you may come in thirty minutes prior to check in time to decorate for your event. Please inform us when you make your reservations that you will be decorating prior to your event. Please refrain from using tape on our walls. No glitter or confetti will be allowed as a part of your decorations.

 

Does Moscato’s sell gift cards? 

Yes! Moscato’s has e-gift cards available for purchase from the comforts of your home. Traditional gift cards can be purchased at the studio. E-gift cards can be purchased by going to our e-gift card app on Facebook.

 

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Just yourself! And your friends! We supply the canvas, paints, brushes, easels, aprons, and instructions.

 

How long is a paint and sip class?

Most classes will be two hours long. If a class is projected to take longer to complete, it will be noted on the Event Calendar.

 

Do I have to paint the featured painting?

You are free to paint a different painting if you would like, however, the instructor will not be able to give you instructs on any painting other than the one being taught for your class. You may request to change the colors used in the featured painting. Just ask us and we will get the colors you need.

 

I’m here with my significant other. Do we both have to do the same painting?

Because we understand that you may not want two of the same painting, you and your special someone can request to paint one painting split between two canvases. We will supply you each with a smaller canvas, will help you to know how to paint half of the painting on your canvas so that when the two are put together, the two make one completed canvas. Of course, one of you can always opt to paint a different canvas, or change up the colors to change things up a bit.

 

Are classes ever cancelled?

This rarely happens. Moscato’s Masterpiece does require a minimum of 8 painters per class. You will be notified 24 hours in advance if minimum is not met and rescheduling options will be offered. Moscato’s Masterpiece reserves the right to cancel a class due to severe weather. If severe weather strikes and classes need to be cancelled for the evening or day, Moscato’s Masterpiece will notify you at least 4 hours prior to class time. You will be able to reschedule to another date. You will never be charged for a class cancelled due to low attendance or weather.

 

What if something comes up and I have to cancel?

Sometimes things come up and you might need to cancel. Please give us 48 hour notice so we have the opportunity to fill your spot. Reimbursement and rescheduling options will not be given to no-shows.

 

What if I need to cancel my Private Party?

Deposits will be processed when booked and are NON-REFUNDABLE. Remaining amounts are processed the day of the event. If your cancellation is 14 or more days before the event, you will not be charged the remaining balance; however, if canceled within 14 days you will be charged in full.

 

Are walk-ins welcome?

Walk-ins are welcome but not guaranteed. It is best to reserve your spot online by clicking Event Calendar and selecting the class you want to attend.

 

Can I sit with my friends?

Of course! Let us know during your reservation who you would like to sit with and we will arrange the seating accordingly.

 

What should I wear?

Please wear what you are comfortable wearing! We paint with acrylics, which, can become permanent unless treated with soap and water. Moscato’s Masterpiece supplies aprons for your use during classes. Moscato’s is not responsible for any damage done to your clothing or possessions during a paint class.
